Inside Sales Representative

Job Responsibilities:

As an Inside Sales Representative you will be part of our commercial team responsible for selling Axiogenesis' cell products and related services. In addition to supporting our existing customers, your task will be to identify and develop new customers and grow business in close collaboration with Axiogenesis' Marketing, Business Development and Field Sales teams. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge stem cell technology in an emerging market with huge growth potential. As part of our cross-functional team you will be exposed to a variety of sales related fields and get the chance to broaden your professional expertise.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Meet or exceed sales budgets for all products and assigned business objectives
  • Develop and implement tactical plans and maximize revenues in the assigned areas in close collaboration with Axiogenesis' Marketing, Business Development and Field Sales teams
  • Execute pricing strategy to maintain existing business and develop new business
  • Through consultative selling, enhance customer satisfaction and increase our competitive advantage while building trust and relationship with customers.
  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Contribute to internal information exchange and preservation by maintaining our CRM database
  • Occasionally assist trade shows and exhibitions

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Master or Bachelor in Life Sciences (e.g. Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology) with experience in cell culture technology
  • A solid background in stem cell technology, cardiac biology and/or neuroscience both scientifically and sales-wise is preferred
  • A proven track record as an inside sales representative in a life-science environment is a huge benefit
  • Strong sales personality with a hands-on mindset and a pro-active approach to sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Expertise in Salesforce.com is a plus
